Wratislavia Translation House at the Localization World conference
On June 8-10, 2009 our Company participated in the Localization World conference in Berlin.
This year’s thirteenth edition of the conference gathered 460 participants from all over the world and was a great opportunity for building relationships with partners and learning about new trends in our industry.
We hope that the participation in numerous lectures and presentations on the best practices in our industry, localization process management, localization technologies and tools, as well as medical translation challenges, will spur further growth of our Company.

The Amsterdam conference organized by ELIA association was attended by numerous translation and localization companies from all over Europe and also North America. On March 27-29th, 2009 representatives of our Company took part in the ProZ.com & LSP Software conference entitled "The translation and localization market in Poland", which was held in the Orbis hotel in Wrocław. On November 5-6th, 2008 our Company was represented at Tekom fairs in Wiesbaden, which accompanied the tcworld conference. These are the largest fairs in Europe dedicated to a technical communication. They were attended by exhibitors representing the largest companies from this sector.

Wratislavia Translation House becomes a member of the Lower Silesian Chamber of Commerce
We are pleased to announce that the Chamber Presidium Council has accepted our Company as a member of the Lower Silesian Chamber of Commerce by the resolution of June 18.

“Meet Wratislavia Translation House and win a MacBook Air!” competition winner announced!
We prepared a surprise for the participants of the Technology Conference (Zlot Technologiczny) 2008 – a special competition, in which the thinnest laptop in the world: MacBook Air was the prize. The competitors were asked to answer two questions about the business activity of our company and to propose an advertising slogan for our services. The winner announcement and prize award ceremony was held during the evening party at the Gołębiewski Hotel on June 11, 2008.
We are pleased to inform you that the winner of the “Meet Wratislavia Translation House and win a MacBook Air!” competition is Dariusz Hepert (from Feroco SA), who proposed the slogan: "It’s better to translate than to be required to explain oneself" (a play on words in Polish).
Due to the enormous interest in our competition and a huge number of great slogans we decided to award also consolation prizes.
